Chapter 4: BELINDA

The city was very hot the day Belinda arrived. . It was three O’clock in the afternoon Thursday. She had spoken to the older woman on the phone and was told she would try her out if Belinda could get there by Friday. Chapter 7: The Crime scene

It appeared to be an easy enough puzzle to put together. It looked like a drug deal gone bad. Two bodies, traces of heroin; bag whatever evidence could be used to ID them and the possible assassins. The coroner and her young assistant were checking bodies, when one of the dead started to open her eyes. The young assistant almost fell on her backside from her squatting position she was so startled. The puzzle now became a whole new game. Continue reading →

Chapter 9: WHAT DID YOU EXPECT

Jessica wasn’t hungry; in fact she felt like she had the flu. It wasn’t like her to call in sick but she was so exhausted she just couldn’t get out of bed and slept through the phone ringing.
